ERNIE ADAMS

French to English Translation:

A mini-concert by the artist featuring his album Flesh On Flesh (Socadisc). This album marks both the return of virtuoso guitarist Al Di Meola to his first love, electric jazz-rock, and the continuation of his Tango-Cuban world music explorations. Flesh On Flesh is a breathtaking sonic journey, featuring contributions from luminaries such as drummer Ernie Adams and bassist Anthony Jackson.

I first heard "Fusion" music in 1976 listening to a recording of "School Days" by Stanley Clarke on the local college radio station playing on my parents clock radio one evening.  It changed my life.  Discovering "Return to Forever", "Mahavishnu Orchestra", "Headhunters", “Weather Report” and "Jeff Beck", among others, changed my perspective on music.  I'll always have a place in my heart for jazz fusion.
